You must possess the skills, knowledge and ability to safely operate the machine. As per the rental agreement, the customer is fully responsible and is liable for ensuring that they (renter or employees) understand the operation of the equipment.
Ø All customers must provide proof of insurance and executed documentation for any rental. If valid insurance information cannot be supplied then the customer is required to purchase the additional insurance coverage supplied by us at their expense.
Ø We require a standard rental deposit of $ 1,000. Upon the return of the machine, and given that the machine was returned in the same way it was rented (ie: clean and fully fuelled) and with no damage of any sort, the deposit will be fully refunded. If the machine requires fuel, or excessive cleaning, the associated costs are the customer’s responsibility and will be recovered through the deposit. Repairs and damage of any kind will also be recovered through the rental deposit, and should any cost be in excess of the deposit, the customer is financially responsible for any costs over and above the deposit amount.
Ø Maintenance is the responsibility of the customer including engine oil and filter changes as set out in the operator’s manual machine maintenance schedule.
Ø The published "Terms and Conditions of Rental Agreement" will apply to all Equipment rented.
Ø Rentals are based on an 8 hour day, 40 hour week, 160 hour month. In the case of overages per term, invoicing will be at a minimum half days interval thereafter.
Ø Freight charges and/or 'permit' charges will be the responsibility of the Customer in all cases. G.F. Preston Sales and Service Ltd. can arrange trucking at the customer’s request but legally bears no responsibility for freight or hauling issues. Freight charges quoted by G.F. Preston Sales & Service Ltd. are as supplied to us and we assume no responsibility whatsoever for the accuracy of said costs.
Ø Rental rates published do no include applicable Sales Tax.

RENTAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE UPFRONT BEFORE THE MACHINE IS RENTED AND CAN LEAVE THE YARD – NO EXCEPTIONS.
